La Leona — “the lioness” — is Namibia’s home for authentic Mexican vibes, founded in 2024 by a family obsessed with flavour, fire and hospitality.
Tucked into 51 Julius K. Nyerere Street, La Leona began with a simple conviction: Windhoek deserved Mexican food that actually feels Mexican — not a local interpretation of it. Slow-cooked meats, fresh masa, salsas built from scratch every morning, and agave-forward cocktails shaken with care.
